Don’t skip breakfast because contrary to popular opinion, skipping breakfast does not help you to lose weight. In fact, it achieves the exact opposite and helps you gain weight instead. When you skip breakfast, you’ll feel hungry earlier than usual and maybe even more often than you used to feel. Naturally, it’s hard to deny hunger pangs but what if what the office canteen offers you is dish after dish of greasy, unhealthy food?

Don’t use dining out as an excuse to overeat. If you mean to stick to your diet routine, you have to understand that where and when you eat doesn’t make a fig of difference. A lot of people, unfortunately, use this excuse and then become actually surprised when the weighing scale shows them what social overeating has achieved for them.

Another convenient excuse that most people going on a diet use is citing that eating their favorite food doesn’t count as violating their diet regimen. Hello? What planet are you in? Favorite or not, if that dish is brimming with calories and fats, that still qualifies as going against your diet regimen.

A nibble doesn’t count is one more excuse that a lot of individuals going on a diet are fond of saying when they’re caught taking a bite here and there. Okay, technically speaking, a nibble doesn’t really count. But what if you’ve taken twenty nibbles all in all in one day? And what if you do this everyday? That’s equal to 600 nibbles in one month! And how much calories and fats do you think those 600 nibbles contain? Don’t let yourself fall into the trap of nibbling. Stay away from what your diet regimen says is forbidden if you really want to become slim in no time.

Diet can never achieve the slimming effect you’re hoping for without help from exercise. So yes, that means not only do you have to endure hunger pains because of diet but you also have to endure physical torture in the gym. I know it’s hard but just imagine what you’ll look like later on. Isn’t that worth fighting for? Isn’t that worth dying for?! Oops, just kidding!
